The studio

We built the place we wished existed.

Marrowlight began with a simple frustration: care that moved too fast, asked you to perform wellness, and treated the wound instead of the person. So we made something slower.

A serene landscape representing safety and emotional nurturing

Why we exist

Restoration, not repair.

You are not a broken machine waiting for a technician. The patterns that bring people to us, the people-pleasing, the bracing, the quiet self-criticism, were once intelligent ways of staying safe. We treat them with respect, not impatience.

Our work draws on mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, reparenting practice, and plain human attention. We hold space for the parts of you that learned to hide, and we help you build a daily life roomy enough to keep them.

What we hold to

Three commitments we refuse to compromise.

01

Your pace is the pace

We never push a nervous system faster than it can safely go. Slow is not a failure of progress. Slow is how the body learns it is allowed to rest.

02

Evidence, gently applied

Our methods are grounded in trauma-informed research, not trend. But research only helps when it meets a real human warmly, so that is how we bring it.

03

Access is care

Wellbeing should not be gatekept by paperwork, cost, or jargon. We make the path in as clear and human as we can, for every kind of body and mind.

The people

Small on purpose. Three of us, no more.

A studio this size means you are never a number on a waitlist, and you always know exactly who is holding the work with you.

Ines Varela

Founder · Inner-child practitioner

Ines trained in Internal Family Systems and somatic mindfulness after a decade in clinical psychology. She leads our reparenting arcs and still believes the slow questions matter most.

Tomas Oyelaran

Anxiety & nervous-system care

Tomas blends breath, body-scan work, and practical CBT into tools you can actually use at 3am. He is the person clients quote back to themselves months later.

Margot Reuben

Access & transitions support

Margot guides people through grief, big life changes, and the systems around disability and accessibility, holding both the feelings and the forms with equal patience.

When you're ready

You don't have to have the words yet.

Come as you are. The first call is free, and figuring out what you need is part of the work, not a prerequisite for it.
